Product Overview

CrackFix E77 585 is a high-performance injection mortar designed for structural anchoring in concrete and masonry. It is suitable for cracked and uncracked concrete as well as solid and hollow masonry when used with sleeves. The 585ml cartridge is ideal for larger anchoring projects requiring more material per application.

Applications / Intended Use

Anchoring In

  • Cracked and uncracked concrete
  • Lightweight and porous concrete
  • Solid masonry
  • Hollow bricks / hollow blocks (with perforated sleeve)

Typical Anchor Elements

  • Threaded rods
  • Reinforcement bars
  • Internal threaded rods
  • Steel bolts and studs

Base Materials

  • Concrete C20/25 and higher
  • Hollow brick, solid brick
  • Sand-lime brick
  • Lightweight concrete blocks

Installation (Concrete)

  1. Drill hole to specified diameter and depth.
  2. Remove standing water if present.
  3. Clean hole thoroughly — blow, brush, blow.
  4. Attach mixing nozzle and discard first strokes.
  5. Inject mortar from bottom up.
  6. Insert anchor with twisting motion.
  7. Allow full curing before loading.

Performance — Concrete (Characteristic Values)

Tension Loads (Steel Failure)

  • M8 → ~18 kN
  • M10 → ~29 kN
  • M12 → ~42 kN
  • M16 → ~78 kN
  • M20 → ~122 kN

Shear Loads

  • M8 → ~9 kN
  • M10 → ~15 kN
  • M12 → ~21 kN
  • M16 → ~39 kN
  • M20 → ~61 kN

Values vary by steel grade and failure mode; partial safety factors included.

  • Tension load (M8 to M20): approx. 4.5 kN to 18.5 kN
  • Shear load (M8 to M20): approx. 5.1 kN to 34.9 kN

Conditions: Uncracked concrete C20/25, minimum edge and spacing distances maintained, safety factors already applied.

Masonry Applications

  • Hollow bricks
  • Solid bricks
  • Sand-lime bricks
  • Lightweight blocks

Use perforated sleeves for hollow masonry. Controlled adhesive distribution prevents void failure.

Masonry Load Capacities

  • Hollow brick: up to 0.8 kN
  • Solid brick / sand-lime: up to 1.7 kN (depending on brick class and anchor size)

Tools and Accessories

  • Steel or nylon brushes
  • Hand blower or compressed air
  • Perforated sleeves for hollow masonry
  • Standard injection gun

Storage and Shelf Life

  • Shelf Life: 9 months (foil tube cartridge)
  • Storage: Cool, dark place at +5°C to +25°C
